  • Added support for the @scroll-timeline CSS rule and the animation-timeline CSS property, which allow animation timelines in the AnimationTimeline API to be bound to content scroll progress rather than time in minutes or seconds.
  • Changed the name of the color adjustment CSS property to print-color-adjust as required by the specification.
  • CSS has support for cascading layers by default, defined with the @layer rule and imported with the @import CSS rule using the layer() function.

33 vulnerabilities (5 under CVE-2022-22764 and 29 under CVE-2022-0511) are caused by memory issues, such as buffer overflows and access to already freed memory areas. These issues can potentially lead to the execution of malicious code when specially crafted pages are opened.

The new version also fixes a dangerous issue (CVE-2022-22753) which appears only on the Windows platform and allows to execute code with SYSTEM privileges and gain the ability to write to any system directory through manipulations with the update installation service. Additionally, you may notice vulnerability CVE-2022-22754, which allows plugins to bypass authorization checks.
