Linux Lite 6.2 – Final Release
Our first outstanding news of the month could not be other than the long-awaited launch of the final version of Linux Lite 6.2. Since for months we have been following the track of such an interesting GNU / Linux Distro. which, after its corresponding period of adjustments and tests, is now available with new features, which mainly come from settings in the user interface (GUI), more up-to-date software and timely bug fixes. For example: Includes a newer stable LibreOffice, Lite Upgrade app has a new ending dialog, added a new Video Editor (Shotcut), and the latest Papirus icon set; among many other things.

Nitrux 2.5.0 – Official Release
Another welcome release announcement was that of the version 2.5.0 of the Nitrux Distro. Distro that has managed to stand out based on its form of development, since it is based on the Unstable (Sid) branch of Debian, but with the addition of being able to use some packages pulled from the Ubuntu LTS repositories. In order to offer its users a Modern, innovative operating system and suitable for both teams laptops as well as desktop computers. In addition, it usually differs from others, due to su main desktop environment, called NXDesktop (An enhanced KDE Plasma with “plasmoids”). And also, for the heavy use of redistributable portable applications under the format AppImage.

Lastly, another relevant release that accompanies us this beginning of the month, is not about a Distro but about a great and very used software product known as WordPress. Which, As many of us already know, it is a popular open source content management system (CMS) to create blogs, websites and other content. Its developers tell us that this version “Misha” now further refines the site creation experience. Since it will allow Interact with improvements that continue to make site creation more intuitive while pushing creative boundaries even further.
