Dear: It would be good to create pages on Diaspora and Identi.ca. I think there is a good number of Geek users who are going to be attracted by the content of desdelinux.net

    Cheers!

Ok, right now I send the email asking them to create the account for us, then I will see how to integrate them with the site in such a way that what we publish comes out there too 😀

Oh by the way, what is the Diaspora URL? ^ _ ^ U

      Greetings and welcome friend.

@adalberto: Seeing that your ISP has denied you access to Face and Twitter, you could try Diaspora (http://joindiaspora.com) is a totally free, decentralized network that does not keep your data. Being decentralized, you can set up your own server! That is incredible! Because we can have full control over our data, which is no less important when one of the battles that is taking place on the Internet is for privacy and control of information. I recommend that you try it that it will not disappoint you ... Several months ago I closed my Facebook account and I have no intention of creating another one.
KZKG ^ Gaara Being decentralized D * (so we affectionately say :)) Diaspora has many servers. The best known page is http://www.joindiaspora.com, however on the page http://podupti.me/ they have a compilation of all D * servers. A clarification: All the servers (which we call Pods) interact with each other, that is, belonging to one does not imply that you cannot interact with the rest of the pods. It is very interesting!
Regarding Identi.ca they have the possibility to replicate what they write in Identi.ca on Twitter and vice versa. 🙂

    Greetings and keep it up!

Thanks for the Diaspora URL, I don't really know anything about it ... but it doesn't sound so bad 😀
The point is that our ISP also blocks us from accessing this social network, I will not try to explain how it works (or it doesn't work HAHAHA) because it is highly complicated, complicated or illogical, I don't know what to call it.

Would you recommend a way for us to link with Diaspora, so that everything we publish is also published on our account there?

About Identi.ca and Twitter uff ... the method we used to "link" to Twitter for about 4 days does not work, no idea why 🙁 what plugin would you recommend to synchronize our content with our Twitter account?

Greetings and really, thank you very much for all my friend 😉

Hopefully… but our ISPs as @ KZKG ^ Gaara has blocked access to all of us !!! social networks…

I don't know if there is any way to link D * directly to the blog. What can be done is to link Twitter with Diaspora, if I remember correctly, it links in the Diaspora sense—> Twitter but not if the other way around (This of not being able to reverse the logical implications, hahaha. I promise to find out something and throw some data at them.
And Plugins for WP: I could recommend you http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-twitter-connect/ a plugin that I once used for a job. 🙂
Regarding the ISP blocking, I imagine where the hand comes from. LOL.
I don't know if they know TOR (https://www.torproject.org/ ) What is the use of evading ISP blocks ... I used it for a while when an ISP blocked my ports and although the navigation is a little slower, you skip the blocks like nothing else! Also, all the data you send and receive is encrypted ... 😛
There is the Bundle version that comes to unzip and use: https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/linux/tor-browser-gnu-linux-i686-2.2.34-3-dev-es-ES.tar.gz (for 32 bits)
    https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/linux/tor-browser-gnu-linux-x86_64-2.2.34-3-dev-es-ES.tar.gz (For 64 bits)
Try it and comment to see if it works ... And if not we continue looking for the twist. 🙂

    Southern greetings!

About Tor, haha yes, we know it, like Vidalia, JAP, and others ... the problem is that we navigate through a proxy server that is governed by a white list of sites, if X site is not on that list , we will not be able to enter.
Believe me when I tell you that we have tried everything 🙂

      1.    akoharowen said

In other words, if we have a white list, what we could do would be to set up a TOR server, for example in Argentina, which would not be on the black list ... and you would navigate safely and encrypted up to here and from here you would go out to the rest of the network ... Did they try it?

        Regards!
        Alejandro

It would be necessary to see which domains in Argentina are allowed to us 🙂

@ KZKG ^ Gaara so good… good news .. it's a shame that our ISP has denied us access to those social networks…. but hey, you do what you can….

    Many grax

HAHA I'm not telling you, you don't know the work it takes to integrate a site to social networks, when you DO NOT have access to these HAHAHAHA.

Look Diaspora che, a lot ago with the boom of the Face I had read an article that a new social network was going to come that would devastate Facebook because it would be more secure, our photos would be on our computers working P2P style, and that it had the Support from great sponsors, it was also created by a group of university students and this project would be called Diaspora, a lot of time has passed and I have just heard his name again.

They should review the plugin for Facebook because I haven't received things from it for a while. Desdelinux to Facebook and yet Twitter does update all the time

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

It's not really a plugin, it's just an app on Facebook.com that reads new articles via RSS and puts them on our FB page, nothing to do for us 🙁
