Script-Fu and Plugin Registry available for Gimp 2.8

The launch of GIMP 2.8 brought many news. However, there was a unanimous claim: the lack of Script-Fu (Gimp's main collection of image filters) and Plugin Registry (package with the main Gimp plugins).

Thanks to Otto Kesselgulasch, one of the leading Gimp enthusiasts and developers, our troubles are over.

Open a terminal and run the following commands to install Gimp Plugin Registry:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: otto-kesselgulasch / gimp
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gimp-plugin-registry

To install Script-Fu, download the script, I opened a terminal and ran the following commands:

cd Downloads /
unzip gimp_scripts-2.8.zip
sudo mv gimp_scripts-2.8 / /home/usuário/.gimp-2.8/scripts

Let's clarify that it is necessary to change in the last line by the name of our user, eg. for me it would be «/home/mauro/.gimp-2.8/scripts», there is never a lack of clueless ...
