As I was saying a few days ago when we updated WordPress 3.6, the new theme that comes by default: I love it !!
And it is not just another issue, as has always happened, we are talking about a new design Responsive Design 100% HTML5, which is capable of changing its range of colors depending on the type of post we are writing, because in WordPress 3.6 now we can specify the type of input we want to write.
In the image above I used an example of each format style, and the result is quite colorful as well as conforming to current trends that everything is "flat" y "simple". I like the color palette, and in general the structure of the site has the essence of a modern blog, with large texts.
Incidentally, now I have to add some CSS styles so that our theme has full support for the new built-in video and audio player.
I had planned to use this theme as the basis for ours for two reasons:
- Everyone who designs and models themes for WordPress, you should study the themes that the development team releases by default, which brings me to the second reason.
- The code. They only have to see the file style.css how well written and explained it is. It is Responsive Design, it has support for Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9. Anyway.
But unfortunately it is not so easy to make a change, because with the new version of WordPress new ways of "Write a topic". What I will do is study it, to adapt our theme to the new that has been implemented. I'll tell you about it.
It looks pretty, although I would change the colors a bit. And that part in the end very uber.
The design itself is good, but it has very psychedelic colors for my taste.

Very tangled and it is not totally in Spanish, I stay with blogger.
If you download the WordPress in English, obviously the theme will be in English. However, if you download WordPress in Spanish, the default theme will also be in Spanish by default. So there is no major problem in this regard.
This topic seems to me to be one of the most comfortable for the eye, if it weren't for the fact that the posts had different colors to "differentiate" them.
Anyway, I would resort to freemium themes and not so pros.
