GREYC's Magic Image Converter (G'MIC) is a image retouching tool now available as a GIMP plugin. G'MIC comes with a long series of available effects (more than 190). For more information, visit the official G'MIC website. |
Pasha G'MIC from the next linkIt is also possible to use the corresponding PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: otto-kesselgulasch / gimp sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install gmic gimp-gmic
You can download the standalone tool as well as the GIMP plugin, although it is not necessary to install both for them to work.
Once the plugin was installed, I opened GIMP, then I opened an image and select the menu Filters> G'MIC.
Excellent! Thank you so much for sharing it! It's excellent 😀
I've been learning to use GIMP for a very short time (beyond editing images or making simple signatures) and this tool is just great. It is serving me a lot, thank you.
