GNOME 3.32 enters beta, final release on March 13

GNOME

The GNOME project today introduced the first beta of the next version of its graphical environment, GNOME 3.32, which will arrive on March 13.

The GNOME 3.32 beta (GNOME 3.31.90) arrives just on the calendar day and is available for public testing. This is an important mint in the development of GNOME 3.32 updating various components and applications.

"This is the first beta of GNOME 3.32. To ensure the quality of the final release we have entered 'feature freeze' and 'API Freeze' so now is a good time for distributors planning to use GNOME 3.32 in their products to test their packages.”Mentions Michael Catanzaro on the mailing list.

As we well know, the 'feature freeze' and 'API Freeze' phases are those where the features and the API will no longer have any more changes or modifications compared to the final version, this in order to avoid new problems appearing.

If you would like to test the GNOME 3.32 beta you can download the snapshot from this linkOnly do it if you know what you are doing as this is an unfinished version.
