It is now available to all users of Gnome Shell, the site that the Gnome Project announced a few months ago with Extensions for this Desktop Environment.
If you notice in the image that starts this Post I get a nice little poster informing that I do not use Gnome Shell, but if it is not your case, everything works just like the Mozilla Firefox Addons for example. There are very interesting extensions such as: Application Menu, which gives the user an experience similar to the menu of Gnome 2. In OMGUbuntu you will see some interesting screenshots about it.
Even as you can see, we will have the option of uploading our own Extensions, although it would be necessary to see what the process would be to accept third-party projects. So you know, to try ...
Gnome Shell Extensions
The site is great, the way to install the extensions is simple, there are few extensions, but there are the ones that I use 😀 uninstall the ones I had and install the ones from the site zero problem.
Hopefully this gives Gnome enough push, that although it is not the desktop I use, I find its latest proposal more than interesting.
