The program is written in Java and uses GTK + for its graphical interface.
It has been updated to version 0.6 with these changes:
- New upstream release.
- Make one package for all architectures (yes, it's pure Java).
- Update java-gnome dependency (use 4.0.15).
In order to install it on Karmic, we need to add its PPA repository:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: gnome-split-team / ppa
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install gnome-split
