Google has indefinitely postponed the release of the Android 3.0 code

The giant of internet google has postponed the publication of the Android 3.0 code as reported by the software with the source code of the latest version of your operating system for mobile devices, Android Honeycomb 3.0 not ready for use yet.

Google justifies this decision by arguing that said software is not yet ready to be manipulated by other developers and they questioned whether Honeycomb would work in mobile.

Google acknowledged that they accelerated the exit of the Android version 3.0 , this in order to be ready in time for the launches that would take place at the beginning of the year, of the new generation of computer tablets headed by Motorola Xoom.

“We didn't want to think about how long it would take for that same software to work on phones. It would have required a lot of additional resources and expanded our work plan beyond what we thought was reasonable. So we took a shortcut, ”explained Google's Android manager Andy Rubin.

This delay in opening the honeycomb code, which could last for months, represents a setback for all software developers and also for small manufacturers of technology who use the Android operating system for their business.

As they will remember «Android is an open source project »developed by Google and that is used by large companies such as Motorola, Samsung or HTC.
