I love to personalize my desktop, and I need to match even the smallest detail of the graphic elements, otherwise I feel uncomfortable. This is why I like the look of Elementary OS and Mac OS X.
I am starting to work with decorator, which allows me to create my own theme for the windows of KDE easy way (0 at least easier than with Aurorae) and I just uploaded my first job to Kde-Look, which is a modification of this other topic based Elementary.
How to use it?
The first thing to do is install decorator that in the case of Debian we just have to put in a terminal:
$ sudo aptitude install kwin-style-dekorator
Later we go to System Preferences »Workspace Appearance and in Window Decoration we search decorator.
Then we click where it says Set decoration and we should get something like this:
Now we just have to click on the button that says Install Theme File and select the file they downloaded from Kde-Look. If everything went well, we just have to select it and click on Accept.
Ready!! Any problem let me know in a comment 😉
It turned out very well, congratulations 😀
Thank you .. I still have a lot to learn 😀
Which style of qtcurve are you using? I've always looked for one like that.
Great! The truth is that I'm getting fond of your work friend Elav 😛
I'm using a very similar one, it's called AuroMAC and the buttons are on the left side, they can be shrunk or enlarged, what would change that theme is the gray background for a light blue one but I don't know how to do it. Yours are very good.
LOL I also like the appearance of Mac OS X and what better way than to use it on Mac OS X xD itself
MacOS ... no no thanks, I don't like feeling like a prisoner 😀
My political party gave me a macbook pro xD
I also prefer Mac. Miguel de Icaza convinced me 🙂
I am using a Smaragd theme that looks a lot like
