GTK + 3.2 available, with support for Wayland and HTML5

GNOME 3.2 is the first major update to the GNOME 3 platform and offers a much more complete experience with new features such as new contact and document applications, a new login screen, on-screen keyboard, color management support, and much more.

GTK + 3.2 has been available for a few days. Among the new features is support for Wayland (the graphical server that will be used in the next Ubuntu) and the rendering on HTML5, which will allow you to run GTK applications in your favorite internet browser.

For more information, I recommend that you read the release notes.

Excuse the beast question and worthy of a HOYGAN, but does it update itself or does it have to be installed on purpose?

Good thing I asked then. I just fixed it and I have 2,3. Updating.

    Thank you very much!

It's not a bad question. As far as I know ... if you have GNOME 3 installed, it should update itself. Of course, if your distro came with GNOME 2.3 then it would have to be installed on purpose.

    A hug! Paul.
