| gvSIG, the project for the development of cross-platform Geographic Information Systems (it works on Windows, Mac and Linux), has released a new final version of its desktop application: gvSIG Desktop 1.10. |
The main novelties of gvSIG 1.10 are the integration of the Sextante 0.6 extensions (with GRASS 6.4 interface) and Navtable, and the compatibility with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Other novelties included in this version are:
- Bug fixes in version 1.9
- Compilation of binaries for JVM 1.6 (with compatibility for JVM 1.5)
- Pie and bar chart legends
- Support for relative file paths
