Homebank aims to be a simple but powerful software for the administration and analysis of our finances. Some important characteristics are:
- OFX, QFX and QIF file import with duplicate detection
- Easy transaction management
- Easy management of beneficiaries and categories
- Import and export of data in CSV format
Another of its great attractions is the graphical tools of balance of expenses, since they make it easy to see where the money went and in what proportion.
Installation
From its official website we can download the Tarball with the most recent version to compile by ourselves, but they also report that it is available in the repositories of several distributions (Arch, Suse, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, among others) so it would be enough to choose the version that suits us best.
The program looks very interesting and it would help me a lot. I use Kmymoney, but it is interesting to have other alternatives.
