Hotot for Chrome

By now you have surely heard of hotot, a Twitter client that from the beginning stood out from the rest by its neat interface reminiscent of a mobile application, well, it is already available as an Application for Chrome / ium.

When we just installed it we can realize that it is literally the version for the Hotot browser, it is the same even in the smallest detail and we will have to go through the same authorization method before using it, and login every time we want to do it , which I find a bit cumbersome.
The interface is adaptive: the wider the browser window, the more columns are displayed, with the disadvantage that they cannot be sorted. Notifications run under Chrome's notification system, so you won't miss out on any tweet, and they also include the same sound.
It is currently in version 0.9.6, which although it is still alpha, is an alternative at the height of its desktop version, or any other Twitter / Identi.ca client.

Installation

Installation is done quickly and painlessly through the Chrome Web Store, just like any other application for this browser.

:OR!! now I've seen it all! It's good to hear that, so users of other platforms can know what it feels like to use the magnificent Hotot !! 🙂

notice more cons than pros in this post ... which makes me think about this: why use something so flashy when one can make a tweet directly in the address bar? and if you want to see what they are tweeting ... use twitter ...

I agree with Mauricio. There is everything. Many people prefer to tweet this way. Likewise, the more possibilities there are, the better. 🙂
    Cheers! Paul.

Matter of taste, personally it seems more practical to use a client; Tweeting from your cell phone is also a good option.
