Well that's easy with PhotoFilmStrip. It is an application that allows us to create high-quality videos from photos, and all with a simple interface that also allows us to add all kinds of effects and audio tracks to complete this type of production.
My poor father spends hours in front of the Power Point preparing presentations with the photos of his travels. Add music to them and everything is very nice, but the end result is only playable on a computer since there are no DVD players that support that format.
PhotoFilmStrip, on the other hand, has a really simple interface that simply you will need us to import the photos that we want to include in the film and then we canadd the song that we want to use as the animation background. He final result is playable on any DVD player! Sure, depending on the format you choose. 🙂
This little program is evolving rapidly. The version 1.3.96 that was launched a few days ago already has experimental support for export videos directly to Flash format, as well as the option to change the aspect ratio and set it to 16: 9, 4: 3 or 3: 2, so that the video fits the photos ... or vice versa.
Apparently, the option to create the video was already included by adjusting the duration of the photos to perfectly match the music. 🙂 Thanks Morpheus for the data!
I leave you a video that shows what this tool is capable of:
Installation
Just get off this DEB package and install it. 🙂
Also exist versions for other distros and other OS (Win, Mac, etc.).
It is true that this modality is excellent!
especially for beginners and it looks very easy to learn
"Unfortunately, the option to create the video by adjusting the length of the photos to perfectly match the music is not yet included"
If you select a music theme, DO adjust the length of the photos. I'm telling you because I have videos created with this little program that I've been using for a long time.
