why don't you put the video directly in the entrance, you can use this page http://embedresponsively.com/ to generate the responsive code

Sorry, it was my fault, Pablo left the scheduled post but said schedule was lost and so I published it manually, but I didn't realize that WordPress cut the video because it was inserted as an iframe. I have already reinserted it with a shortcode. A thousand apologies for those who saw the entry without video and did not understand what it was about.

        Thanks Manuel.
Today I was to the bullfights. This is the second time that wp has done the same to me and "loses" the programming of the post. I'll have to talk to Ale ... this can't be. 🙂

Maybe the server time is not correct (or not ours?)

Well yes, it must be something with the time, or the PHP cron that WordPress uses.

    Ok, good idea.

    I think it's great!
And since this is a horizontal portal, anyone should feel encouraged to create OWN content on YouTube (distros, programs, reviews) and contribute them here. What really puzzles me is that it is not done more often.

by the way, Pablo, your contributions and your way of understanding the matter are fantastic.

The thing about looking for the image in google images I knew what I had overlooked was to drag the image to the tab, I usually copied the url or had to download if sometimes the url had problems (some https)

If they are small tips, the idea is good, but if they are going to put tutorials in which you have to use the console and write multiple commands ... I don't think it is a good idea, because it will make it difficult for less users to copy / paste the commands. advanced and do not handle the use of this tool very well.

    1.    let's use linux said

      We will consider it!

I think it's very good to make videos on different linux themes…. for my part Ok !!!

      Good! Thanks for the feedback

  14.   Felipe said

It seems like a bad idea to me, because generally when you look for some help, the first thing you do when you find something is to do a quick review of the entry to see if it is what you need, which is not possible in a video. Many times time is wasted watching videos that turn out not to be what one wanted.

    1.    cat said

But the idea would be mostly to make Reviews (why read when you can see how it works: D), obviously with the tutorials (in which there are lines of code) they have to be yes or yes the classic text posts.

      1.    let's use linux said

Interesting! Thanks for the comments. I will take them into account.
        Hug! Paul.

        1.    cat said

It would be good if they left a flap in the menu below the start image where you could find the reviews that are uploading, since on this page there are too many tutorials and troubleshooting posts (one of the things that makes it one of the best Hispanic blogs on GNU / Linux).

  19.   eliotime3000 said

I've been using Google Images for a long time, plus it's been a good idea on how to get the most out of it when looking for wallpaper images.

A +1 (because I can't like it because of the comment system).

With audacity you can remove or alleviate that white noise quite easily, there are several tutorials on youtube about how to do it.

    1.    let's use linux said

Yes, I know ... the point is that you have to separate the audio from the video first and then rejoin it ... right? Unless I can do the recording with audacity directly but that would mean squeezing my limited system resources even more. : S
