How to use the Google to-do list on your desktop

It is full of programs to manage our ToDo lists. For starters, there is Tomboy and also Gnote, then we have Getting Things Gnome, and a long etcetera. However, none of them allow us to synchronize our notes with those of Google. Some allow us to keep our tasks in sync on our different computers but only if we use Remember the milk and other less popular services. Well, here I present the solution: thanks to the cloud we can use the Google task editor directly on our desktop. Let's see how to do it ...

The steps to follow

1. I followed the steps detailed in this other post to configure Mozilla Prism or Chrome:

http://usemoslinux.blogspot.com/2010/08/como-integrar-la-nube-tu-escritorio-con.html

2. Create a new application and in the URL field enter: http://mail.google.com/tasks/ig

Ready! Now you can open the Google task editor as if it were any other application. 🙂

What I find especially valuable about this "tip" is that not so easy to find out url of google notes app, at least not as much as it is to find out that of Gmail, Gdocs, etc.

I hope you find it useful and that you can manage your notes more comfortably. 🙂
