Throwing of TrueNAS CORE 13.0-U5

The second release registered in DistroWatch for the current month is about TrueNAS CORE 13.0-U5. It is worth noting that TrueNAS is a small FreeBSD-based operating system which offers excellent Network Attached Storage (NAS) services such as CIFS, FTP and NFS.

Meanwhile, TrueNAS 13.0-U4 has been considered the highest quality version in the history of TrueNAS and therefore the most implemented, eThis new version includes approximately 60 new bug fixes, including improvements to NFS, SMB, and replication. In addition, includes significant new components and offers improved performance, scalability, and reliability compared to the previous major release, TrueNAS 12.0.

"A strong indicator of the quality of TrueNAS 13.0 is that there are less than 10 bug fixes and improvements currently planned for 13.0-U6. We recommend that all TrueNAS 12.0 and TrueNAS 11.3 users update their systems to TrueNAS 13.0 before attempting to resolve any software or performance issues.". Oficial announcement
