The Kodi Foundation announced today the Availability of the highly anticipated Kodi 18 Leia, the open source multimedia center that allows its users to enjoy all multimedia content in one place.
Named Leia in honor of Carrie Fisher, the actress who brought Star Wars Princess Leia to life, Kodi 18 is a larger release than comes 2 years after Kodi 17 Krypton and it comes with many features and enhancements, plus other major changes.
Probably the biggest change to come with Kodi 18 is the implementation of support for video game emulators, ROMs and controls, allowing the system to become a retro console. This implementation also makes way for gamepads, joysticks and other specific controls for video games.
