LibreOffice 3.3.1 available!

After a couple of Release Candidates, we already have the first update of the stable version of LibreOffice. 🙂 Enjoy this project that continues to grow and add followers!

LibreOffice developers explain that this version incorporates several updates to the translations, stability improvements and corrections to some conflicts that affected the Windows version. The icons for mimetypes have also been improved, which now follow the lines of the official Document Foundation logo.

Moreover, the fundraising campaign for the Document Foundation it has been a great success. It seems that many of us are grateful that we have contributed so that this important project does not decline. In short, it is the development of the most important office suite for Linux. In a few days, they have managed to raise 41000 euros, about 82% set as a goal.

To install the latest LibreOffice updates on Ubuntu, just add the corresponding PPA. On rolling-release distros, like Arch, the update will appear automatically. The rest of the world, you can always download the LibreOffice binaries from the official site.

in debian libreoffice it is now in the sid branch, which makes the best option in your case perhaps to install it from the binaries. otherwise you can try a hybrid system, but stable / sid seems too much for hybrid.

Exact! Thanks Marcos for helping me with the answers about Debian ... the truth is that many times I don't really know what to answer, since I don't use Debian ... 🙁 Someday I will !! 🙂
