LibreOffice will reach the clouds, iOS and Android

The news has nothing to do with the sky and its clouds, nor that LibreOffice travel by plane, but, according to what they tell us in the La Document Foundation blog, there will be an online version of the Office Suite.

The online version will be built with HTML5, gtk y JavaScript, and will be developed by by Alex Laarson (Red Hat) y Michael Meeks (SUSE). Also, it will be ported to iOS y Android by Tor lillqvis, better known as the man who led Gimp to Windows.

We will see all these new features implemented successfully in late 2012 and early 2013, if the world doesn't end 😀

If you want to see more about it, take a look at this video.

Wow, finally someone gives a little more light on that initiative, that in all the blogs were only dedicated to giving the historical review of the applications in the cloud, google docs, and I don't know what else xD

Thank you very much for the video; D
