Minecraft with cinematic mods

En Minecraft Players can make constructions using cubes with three-dimensional textures, they can also explore the environment, collect and create resources, as well as fight and other actions.

At its commercial launch, the game has two main modes: Survival, in which players must acquire resources to maintain their health and hunger; and creative, where players have unlimited access to the game's resources, the ability to fly and do not need to maintain their health and hunger.

Regardless of these game modes, the difficulty of the game can also be defined, the quietest mode being the peaceful one, which unlike the other difficulties, does not allow monsters to appear in the game that can interact with the player.

There is also a third game mode, called hardcore, which is similar to survival mode, with the difference that it can only be played on the highest difficulty and that the player has only one life, so when he dies the game ends. departure.

Minecraft It is an open world game, so it does not have a specific objective, allowing the player great freedom in choosing how to play, despite this the game has certain achievements that can be accomplished.

The default game mode is first person, although players have the ability to change it to third person.

The game focuses on the placement of blocks, being that this is made up of cubic three-dimensional objects, placed on a fixed grid pattern.

These cubes or blocks mainly represent different elements of nature, such as earth, stone, minerals, tree trunks, among others.

Players are free to move around their environment and modify it by creating, collecting and transporting the blocks that make up the game, which can only be placed respecting the fixed grid of the game.

At the beginning of the game, the player is in a world generated by an algorithm, which allows it to be practically infinite.

The player is free to move around the terrain, made up of different biomes, including deserts, jungles, oceans, plains and tundras.

The game has its own cycle of time of day and night, being that a day in the game is equivalent to 20 minutes in reality.

The game also includes non-playable creatures and characters, collectively referred to as mobs, these creatures can be peaceful, such as pigs, chickens and sheep, from which the player can easily obtain food and resources.

Creatures hostile to the players also appear in the game, such as zombies, giant spiders and skeletons, these creatures only appear at night or in dark areas, among these monsters are unique creatures of the game, such as creepers, which explode when close to the player, or the enderman, who can collect blocks and teleport.

The mapping is not generated entirely simultaneously, but is divided into chunks ("chunks", "chunks") of 16 × 16 blocks horizontally. Chunks close to the player are loaded into memory. As it moves, new chunks are generated and added to the map.

Survival mode ("survival") is the most original mode of the game and is set in real life while also contains a bit of fantasy, players have a life bar of 10 hearts.

You have to create a crafting table to build pickaxes, swords, hoes ... Hostile monsters attack them spontaneously (unless this game is in peaceful mode), and they can take damage (from these and in other ways, such as falls, lava, etc.) and die.

They also have a hunger bar, which they have to fill by obtaining and consuming food (from animals, zombies or plants), and an experience bar, obtained by defeating mobs (monsters), and by chopping mineral blocks (coal, lapis lazuli, redstone , emerald and diamond) or melt them (iron and gold)

The different blocks and objects are manufactured or collected and then stored in the players' inventory. The blocks require a few seconds to be extracted, in addition to certain tools depending on the case.

By acquiring better resources, you increase the quantity and quality of the tools (the better it is, the more things it breaks in the case of the pick or it does it faster in all cases, except the hoe, in addition to lasting longer) and objects that can be crafted .

There is also the peaceful mode (peaceful mode) is the same as survival but there are no monsters and you recover life when you lose it.

Bosses In Minecraft

There are 2 bosses:

Wither: It takes three heads of Whiter Skeleton which are obtained in the dimension «Nether» and four blocks of Soulsand, also obtained in the Nether to summon him.

The Soulsand blocks should be placed so that it is in the shape of a «T», and then put the heads on top of it, so that the Whiter comes out at the end.

Ender Dragon: Found in the "End" dimension. To enter you need 12 Portals at the end and 12 ender eyes, and they must be placed so that they make a square without corners, and then enter it.

It is a black dragon, and that by defeating it, under where it died a portal to the world will be created. If it is entered, the credits will appear (defeating the Ender Dragon is considered the end of the game).

Graphics can be enhanced using Optifine 😀

    1.    rainbow_fly said

And a good texture pack of 512 × 512 with a modification of the execution of java 😀

  3.   oscar said

Thanks, I'll stick with rigs of rods XD

  4.   Blitzkrieg said

The bad thing is that it is done in java (although it is cross-platform), I get a bad performance, it hardly "runs" at 3fps

  5.   Dekomu said

    I love this game, although it is a bit boring to play it alone; or;

    1.    cat said

Play it in multiplayer, the game experience changes completely ... or you can also install forge and start using mods, in which they add new weapons to trains 😀

I play the minetest, it is the same but written in cy for free, well it does not compare to the original but if you go to its page it has several mods and texture packs I say in case you are interested.

Thanks but I'll stick with TERA and GUILD WARS 2.

I've been playing Minecraft since 1.2.5 and I've been seeing how the java performance is still bad until you add the Optifine mod (both on a Pentium4 with an Nvidia and an i3 with an Intel, I admit that they are quite fair computers) but everything and thus it takes out its 10 ~ 15fps and with optifine it goes up to 25fps and is playable.
I like the game above all for being able to build whatever I want both in survival (you gain the satisfaction of having built it by your "own" means) and creatively.

    1.    Ivan Molina said

In 1.7 the performance is so good that it stops that I have optifine
      Regards!

Let's see if the OpenJDK improves or worsens Minecraft's performance.

      1.    Ivan Molina said

I play it with OpenJDK and it feels more fluid than in Windows XP (I don't use Windows anymore)

      2.    rainbow_fly said

The truth is that it gives me a much more fluid performance than in windows

    My favorite game 😀
Tip: To be able to run it on Arch and derivatives (like Manjaro) you must first install the java-runtime, openal and xorg-server-utils packages… and to install Forge (it allows using mods) you must install the scala package.

    1.    eliotime3000 said

Excellent. Let's see if I can play this game (the last time I tried it, it asked me for a payment in advance to be able to play it).

      1.    Ivan Molina said

20 Euros, very cheap right? https://minecraft.net/store

For that game, it is a robbery .., it is worth almost the same as the last night subway XD

          1.    Ivan Molina said

Updates are free from Alpha -> Beta -> RC -> Final (Even the testing versions) :), I stand pretty fair to pay that (or download it for taringa xD) from 1.6 to 1.7 they added impressive things ... very cheap the game and you complain: /
PS: The amount of mods and ResoursePacks is impressive! for me the game with more mods.
            Salutetess!

Man, if it seems fair to you to pay that for a game with pre-play graphics1 ok ... xD, each one with their tastes xd, but I wouldn't pay them more than 10 euros, xd the old amnesia has lots of mods, better graphics and it's entertaining and not worth so much XD

          3.    Ivan Molina said

            For color tastes, right?
I'm not into games with super graphics, I prefer FF7 (Final Fantasy 7) or FF9 to playing the mocosoft game: Halo

Let me reboot my PC for a moment to install Minecraft on my partition with Debian Wheezy (I am just taking care of the Windows Vista partition that I have had neglected for a loooong time).

There is a kind of clone with LGPL license, Mintest is called: http://minetest.net/.

I have started to play it but I don't know much ... So I don't know if there are many differences with respect to Minecraft

Minecraft, you could consider it the game with one of the largest user and modder communities. The performance of the PC version leaves much to be desired. On the other hand, the version of Tablets (ARM) is in C or C ++ and performs excellent.

I got to know minecraft in the middle of last year and I can guarantee that the multiplayer makes the most of this extraordinary SandBox game. Additionally, comment that I manage a server where we use Bukkit (http://dl.bukkit.org/) which is a server version of minecraft Open Source with an api that helps increase in-game functionality without modifying the Vanilla (official) minecraft client.
