Mint Spirit, a new typeface designed for the operating system Linux Mint Debian Edition, is now available for download in case you want to try it or use it permanently. The typeface has been designed to give Linux Mint Debian Edition its own identity and is inspired by font families Futura, Gillius, NeoGothis y Ubuntu Fonts. It is worth mentioning that it is not part of any official project of linux mimt rather it was developed by Arkandins Digital Foundry.
The objective of the source, according to its developer, «Is to create a useful clear, fresh, beautiful and modern typeface for text and on-screen display, based on the logo of linuxmint«
They can download it directly from here, or from the official site of Arkandis.
Thanks for the source, I've been looking for it for a while.
Greetings.
Looks elegant, downloading 😉 Thank you very much.
Pa takes it out 😀
Beautiful 🙂
My Tuquito looks spectacular now!
I've been using it since the first alpha version came out. Is it already complete?
Hello Hache
Yes, this is the full 1.1 version and contains the complete family of Mint Spirit in its two versions
The last time I tested it in chakra, it gave me enough problems, I don't know why, I'm going to give it another chance, when I leave my hackintosh xD
Well, here the old woman knows how to mount things typical of other distros in others so ask her haha
It is a fountain ... what problems can it cause? 🙂
Everything can cause problems, even the dumbest thing you can imagine, whether it is a source or not.
Give me an example of a problem caused by a font ... does it look ugly on the console?
I lack "more" thickness in the BOLD type since for the sales title I like to use the one of 'ubuntu bold' in my linuxmint and the one that MintSpirit brings is still thin 🙁
Thank you!
Will it be included in LM13?
No, this font family is not part of the official project of Linux Mint as is that of Ubuntu
Very good 🙂
