No CD or DVD is required to upgrade from the previous version, you can upgrade the entire distribution online. Check out this article: http://www.guiadelcamaleon.blogspot.com.es/2012/09/como-actualizar-opensuse-122.html

I installed OpenSuse 12.2 x64 KDE and it amazed me that in 20 minutes everything was ready to work, very fast startup and applications but ... although it detects the wifi and after giving it a lot of thought I was able to configure it, every time I started it asked me for a password for wifi and if the signal was to drop when it resumed, you have to re-enter the password, and so at every moment, a pity, I returned to my dear LinuxMint 13 which is very configurable and does not give much trouble with the wifi.

always beautiful and elegant openSUSE is undoubtedly one of the great GNU / Linux distros and one of my great loves.
It has everything to be the default desktop of any PC, very good integration with KDE and GNOME, highly customizable and good support. Large openSUSE.

Great, I've already downloaded the ".iso" from the KDE and GNOME CDs, let's see what day I get to download the DVD.

I just installed it to test it and I really loved this distro, I had never installed opensuse despite having a lot of respect for it for knowing its benefits, now I am encouraged and installed it and I do not regret it, I love it, it has a very good artwork and it is also stable and very up-to-date, I recommend it. Cheers !!
