Poketty, pokemon battles on your terminal.

pocketty offers us to simulate Pokémon battles from our favorite tty / terminal, it works through files .pkm, each file .pkm It contains all the characteristics of each Pokémon, name, attacks, strength of each attack, initial health of the Pokémon, potions that each Pokémon has etc ... in this way, when starting the game it will ask us what files .pkm you want to charge for battle.

The files .pkm They are nothing more than configuration files where the parameters of each pokemon are specified, in this way, anyone can create their own pokemons or customize the existing ones, with Poketty two are distributed to test the game, pikachu and infernape.

Its development has just started, but it is already fully functional, in the version 1.1 among other things, it adds vs CPU mode and its version 1.2 changes are added like minimum damage points for each attack (specified in each .pkm).

There are no precompiled binaries to test yet pocketty, but compiling it is as simple as downloading the .tar, unzipping it, navigating with the terminal to the unzipped folder and doing a simple:

gcc poketty.c -o poketty
