Other major updates to Proxmox Mail Gateway 8.1 are SpamAssassin 4.0.0 with updated rulesets, Clam AV 1.0.3 for detection, and PostgreSQL 15.6 for optimized performance in database management.

  • Known issues such as support for specific drivers have been addressed and input validation in the rules system has been improved for a smoother and safer experience.
  • The Postfix configuration has been changed to protect against the SMTP smuggling attack.
