Today I bring you an application made by a colleague from gambas-es.org forum, V3ctor, who has made a program that can be used to keep score during the game of a table tennis (or ping-pong) match and wants to share it with the free software community.
It arose from the need to have customized PC software, since I could not find any software (neither proprietary nor free) that would perform the functions of scoreboard or scoreboard for this game. The project website is http://tanteador-tenis-de-mesa.blogspot.com.es/, where you can find more information about the project (manuals, video tutorials, news about new versions, etc.)
It should be noted that it is his first programming project, and it clearly shows that anyone, with dedication and desire to improve and learn, can create their own programs and utilities, using a language such as Prawns3.
Here are several videos for you to see it work:
The program can be downloaded at http://sourceforge.net/projects/tanteadortenisdemesa/
For the version hosted in sourceforge, it is necessary to have installed gambas3.6.1 (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, ArchLinux)
Note:
To install gambas3 you will find information at these addresses:
