SlimeVolley: Simple volleyball game on Linux

Linux is not characterized by having games with a graphic comparable to those available for Windows, however I use Linux 80% to work, which leaves me 20% leisure and enjoyment and that's where games come in, regardless of their lack of graphics or not huge, with the game being entertaining and maybe a little addictive enough to entertain me and clear my mind.

Slime volley

This is a simple game, very, very simple, a game that reminds me of a volleyball game that I played on Windows that were two colored bubbles or balls ... by the way, I could swear it's available for Linux, but I can't find it in the repo.

Well, in SlimeVolley we are a 'something' (I don't know what the hell that bug is lol) with which using the control keys we jump and move it, in such a way that a ball moves forward and etc. Come on, a lifelong volleyball:

The game weighs incredibly less than 2MB, it has the possibility for two people on the same computer to play it and in fact, we can (as we see in the photo in the menu above) connect to a server and play online.

The graphics are nothing to write home about (what did you expect for 1.2MB!), It reminds me of some other game that I saw on the net not long ago, however sometimes we just need that, a game that entertains us but not too much to forget work and other tasks 😉

SlimeVolley Installation

As usual, look in your distro repository for the package called slimevolley and install it.

In Debian, Ubuntu and the like it would be:

sudo apt-get install slimevolley

In ArchLinux and other distros that use pacman it would be:

sudo pacman -S slimevolley
