During the year 2023, as a result of the rise of the technology of Artificial Intelligence and using Chat GPTI have tried countless applications. Both desktop (local clients) and online (web platforms). Of which, I really liked, so far, Merlin (A Web Browser plugin) and translate (ChatBot AI web service with online translation).
However, looking for better web solutions, both to install and to use these platforms on GNU/Linux, I have remembered that there are applications such as Station, WebCatalog, Rambox and Franz, who manage very well the WebApps. Therefore, today I bring you this useful and informative publication about the status of each of these applications. Of which, by the way, we have already mentioned and talked about before.
But, before starting this post about WebApps managers "Station, WebCatalog and Rambox", we recommend one previous related post with said software, for later reading:

Current status of the Station, WebCatalog, Rambox and Franz projects
About Station
Of the 4 projects mentioned, Station this is the only one that is really free, open and 100% free, according to its Official website. However, to this day, and according to his section on GitHub, it is in an inactive state, although it has many Forks and PRs recommended and under review. Its latest current version is 2.0.9 dated July 13, 2021. Therefore, it is almost two years without updates, which very possibly makes it impractical to use.
About WebCatalog
Currently, WebCatalog according to your Official website, is a project that remains active and well updated. since, his latest stable version available is version 45.1.0 dated February 27, 2023. And, like the others to mention, this application is multiplatform, it has support for GNU/Linux, it is free to download, but only its core features are 100% free. Therefore, to enjoy its full potential, we must make a single payment for life. In addition, it offers the possibility of using modern WebApps, such as ChatGPT.
About Rambox
Like, the previous application mentioned, Rambox is a multiplatform WebApps manager that remains current and supports GNU/Linux, as mentioned in its Official website. Which can be verified by checking that today its latest stable version available It is version 21.0 dated February 22, 2023. And, it also has installers in different formats for use on the main free and open Distributions. That is, installers in AppImage, Snap, Deb and RPM format.
About Franz
And finally, we will mention the application French, which, according to his Official website, it remains active but not so updated. Since, they offer as latest stable version to version 5.9.2 dated April 14, 2022.
Finally, and in the event that you do not wish to use any of these open and free, or closed and commercial options to manage your WebApps, we always have as a last option the make our own WebApps. Either manually or automatically with special programs, such as WebAppManager.
In my case, and as can be seen in the image immediately above, I have generated a ChatBot in the style of ChatGPT called AI Miracles through the cloud service called Character.AI and WebApp Manager. Which, besides being a lot of fun, is something very interesting and a great free alternative to ChatGPT ChatBots for GNU/Linux.
So if you want to know more about this last alternative I invite you to try my small and humble creation called Miracles AI and see a YouTube video about her.
Summary

Let's just hope that the developers of Station, which is the only one that is really free and open, will keep it updated again so that it is an ideal first option on our GNU/Linux Operating Systems.
