Survey: how often do you use the terminal?

The terminal is, without a doubt, one of the most used tools in Linux. Unlike Windows, using the terminal is not a bad habit; quite the contrary, it allows users to configure their system to taste and piacere and adapt it according to their needs. Clear, it is always friendlier to have a graphical interface for everything, but sometimes this is not the case. What do you think? How often do you use the terminal?

I love the console 😀 I am a lover of it, I remember when I started using linux I hated it but I learned to love it 😀

the truth is that it has many advantages over graphical interfaces. it really is much faster and consumes much less resources. Maybe it is not the most comfortable to navigate (at least for several of the mortals like me) but for programs that need to do few things (as I would like the JDownloader to be for console so it does not consume as much)
it's a matter of grabbing his hand. You cannot compare the time it takes to open a terminal and type "sudo aptitude install ..." with the time it takes to open synaptic, find the package and install it.
and do not try to compare it with the ms-two, please, no idiot appears with that, because they have no point of comparison. I did the test with a friend who uses windows and it takes about 15 min to go to a folder, when in linux you do it in 5 sec by pressing TAB 😉

Definitely, the terminal is one of the apps that I use the most xD configured to appear with super + X, so that it is faster to access it 😀

I like to try different things, new commands, tweet from there xD, but anyway, you have to love it and learn to use it, it is basic for anyone who uses a linux distro 🙂 I think with http://usemoslinux.blogspot.com/2010/08/clicompanion-un-terminal-para.html you can start to «lose your fear» 😉

Lately I think about .. What would become of me without wget? xD
