Survey: which email manager do you use?

Mail managers are becoming increasingly rare. On the one hand, they did not know how to adapt to the new instant messaging systems and, on the other, it is increasingly common, faster and less cumbersome, to check email from our favorite internet browser. How about? Which email manager do you use?

Although I have Thunderbird on my PC, I only start it in order to download the emails so that I have something at hand in case of being offline ...

On the other hand, although I have 3 accounts (Gmail, Yahoo and Hot) I only use Gmail due to the ease with which I centralize all services, Messaging, Buzz, Picasa, Panoramio, Docs….

I always visit them from the browser, however I have started to read the emails directly from my Android ... although most of the time for convenience reasons then I respond from the laptop ...

I have several accounts, the main one is Gmail and I use it directly from the browser. The rest to Evolution.

And you are quite right that mail clients did not adapt to the new times but a simple solution would be a good integration with the operating system to receive notifications at the moment.

At times kmail, at times based on the web. And regarding the update to see what day they implement something else to the arch. A pacman -Syu as root and not a problem when it comes to xD Salu2 updates

There was a time when I used Thunderbird and, before being more strict on the issue of licenses, the one that comes integrated with Opera. Now I am more comfortable with some mail indicator in the panel / dock / browser.

Those programs tend to be quite heavy for me, a good email notifier would be better for me and that's it, as for that:
Does anyone know of a good email notifier that allows gmail tag notifications? A long time ago I tried checkgmail that it had it, but after a while it didn't work anymore I don't know why and the others that I tried (now I don't remember which ones they were) didn't have that option. My problem is that I filter the messages of the acquaintances so that everything is not left in the inbox (which in gmail is known as "archiving"), which is why I need the labels to be notified as well.
    Greetings!
PS: you threw very good articles these days !! I stayed in the liferea marked to see them better. nice job!
