I am a user of Jamendo and I have found in its pages excellent record materials that demonstrate the quality of the artists who upload and share their work with the whole world without charging for it.
That's why I am glad I found this other site. The Free Music Archive, created by the independent radio station WFMU, where they provide us with high quality music in various genres and best of all, for free. 
