Intel's new chip will not be compatible with Linux or Android

Making some excuses such as that the support for another operating system would take a long time, that there are problems with power and promising without much will that another version could appear in the future, Intel just recognized that your new chip, Atom "Clover Trail", despite being x86, it will not be compatible with Linux ni Android. In fact, it will only be compatible with Windows 8.

With an absolute exclusivity agreement, Intel announced that the tablets that come with the Intel "Clover Trail" will be those and only those that contain Windows 8 as an operating system. And when we talk about Windows 8, we are not talking about Mac OS X, or Linux, or Windows 7, much less XP. Microsoft and Intel have teamed up again to close the doors to any other operating system that wants to take advantage of the new generation of tablet chips.

We will have to wait to see Google's reaction to this gesture from Intel, which would leave its operating system a bit out of place if other hardware manufacturers design exclusive components for systems other than Google's.

You know what? These things no longer screw me, with google and valve betting on GNU / Linux (among many new companies, foundations, States and projects) and Ubuntu gaining a new quota of users, Microsoft is being forgotten, I know I think only 2 people who know that microsoft released win 8 and no one who has any idea that microsoft also had systems for tablets
They are being pushed out of the market
They continue to promote closed developments which brings them shitty systems, when the world is gradually adopting free standards, they pressure governments and companies all the time just to try to maintain their monopoly and the world is getting tired

Microsoft, dedicate yourself to doing something else, go and become an MC donals, but rajah before you break

Heavens!! It can't be, bad for intel .. I would never buy a machine with that Chip.
Also where I live I found a place where they sell machines with Ubuntu installed (or others of your choice). Cheers

I take note not to make a mistake in the purchase. If it is not compatible with Linux it does not suit me.
