Not everything is technology, technical articles or personal reflection, and although in general everything is related and goes hand in hand, the users of our Community also have a very good time, especially in the forum of Cyber coffee...
So doing a bit of SPAM I recommend reading some articles that can make more than one smile.
For example, we can learn through witty comments a little about the lives of the members of our Community, where we have teetotalers, cat sitters, martial arts practitioners and many singles: D. All this in What is your life, Linuxero? ...
The best thing about the forum is that it allows a more open debate among its members, where we can raise our points of view, tastes and preferences and for this we can see The 'complexity' of GNU / Linux systems is debated o Enemy of Kde as of any windows ...
We can also appreciate the creativity of our users and the effort they put into customizing their Desks in Show your desktop. The choice is yours ..
I miss the effect, after reading this post I went straight to the forum. You'd get gold in advertising psychology.
xDDD
The forum needs more life, to make more posts and to revitalize it again, like the irc that almost all of you have abandoned.
The IRC is true that it is abandoned, a little ... let's see how we take it up again because it is an excellent space to exchange.
Hi Elav.
I did not remember the forum. What's more, I didn't even remember that I've been out of service for about two months with my netbook due to a problem I don't know about. So there I left a post in the forum, in Ubuntu / Linux Mint.
I have problems because one day when I turn on, I get a black screen with the word "initramfs" and well, I don't know what to do. Hope someone can help me.
Thanks for the publicity. I have to go through the section "What's in your Linux life?" because you hit everything that I am:
- Abstemious.
- I have a couple of cats (male and female).
- I was a martial arts practitioner.
- And I am single.
Heh heh heh. See you soon friend.
Hahahahaha ... well let's see if we can find the solution to your problem, although I can give you the one I always offered when I used Windows: Reinstall xDDD
Ha ha ha ha, your comment made me laugh. The truth is that there would be no problem to reinstall everything, I don't have any files saved there. That computer is my netbook: it is used to go and work everywhere and the files that I work on are shared in UbuntuOne and Dropbox.
Instead, what I am interested in recovering are some Firefox bookmarks of some good pages that talk about topics that interest me. It is the only thing I want to recover, otherwise I would have reinstalled a while ago.
Hey, changing the subject a bit, I'll tell you that a while ago I discovered a very good blog, in English, but I don't know how to advertise it here. It specializes in Xubuntu:
xubuntugeek.blogspot.com
Any ideas?
Hey Elav, you're the one from comment # 110 of the post "See you later, MuyLinux (Who's Picajoso?)" In Muylinux?
Nope, it's not me. He is a fanatic who apparently I have earned for free and he is going around trying to discredit me .. But no case.
Well, I have returned to the forum but for the moment I speak alone and I only laugh at my jokes 😉
