Playing with the bootloader is dangerous, so anyone who wants to use this method should do so at their own risk. The installation instructions would be as follows:
Note: to use this, I remind you that you need to have burg installed, an updated version of grub 2.
* To install BURG:
Add ppa: bean123ch / burg to software sources.
And Run: sudo apt-get install burg
* To use this theme:
Extract it to / boot / burg / themes and run: sudo update-burg
While the grub screen starts up, press the 't' key and in the theme selection menu, choose “Radiance”.

Thank you very much it looks great, I did something similar, but just with a splash-image for grub 2, I'm going to try this one that looks great.
