If you are an Ubuntu 13.10 user and you have the latest updates (daily builds) you may have noticed that they are available to install the Ubuntu Touch "core apps". |
Without a doubt, this news was to be expected and shows that Canonical seeks to create a single system for all devices, using different "skins" depending on the device in question.
The first "Ubuntu Core Touch" applications to debut consist of: a web browser with a WebKit engine, an application for taking notes, and another for managing images.
Installation is simple, just as we would with the rest of the applications.
sudo apt-get install webbrowser-app notes-app gallery-app
