Ubuntu Touch applications available in Ubuntu 13.10

If you are an Ubuntu 13.10 user and you have the latest updates (daily builds) you may have noticed that they are available to install the Ubuntu Touch "core apps".

Without a doubt, this news was to be expected and shows that Canonical seeks to create a single system for all devices, using different "skins" depending on the device in question.

The first "Ubuntu Core Touch" applications to debut consist of: a web browser with a WebKit engine, an application for taking notes, and another for managing images.

Installation is simple, just as we would with the rest of the applications.

sudo apt-get install webbrowser-app notes-app gallery-app
