Recently the release of the new version of UbuntuDDE 21.10 was announced (Remix) which is a distribution that is prepared under the Ubuntu 21.10 code base and supplied with the graphical environment DDE (Deepin Desktop Environment).
Far the project remains an unofficial Ubuntu edition, but the developers are trying to get UbuntuDDE included in the official Ubuntu editions.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Deepin desktop environment, they should know that the desktop components of Deepin are developed using C / C ++ (Qt5) and Go languages. The key feature is the panel, which supports multiple modes of operation. In classic mode, a more explicit separation of open windows and applications offered for launch is carried out, the system tray area is displayed.
The efficient mode reminds something of Unity, mix of indicators for running programs, selected applications, and control applets (volume / brightness settings, connected drives, clock, network status, etc.). In this new version of UbuntuDDE the launch of the Deepin 5.5 desktop was proposed and a set of specialized applications, developed by the Deepin Linux project, including the Deepin File Manager file manager, the DMusic music player, the DMovie video player, and DTalk messaging.

Regarding the requirements In order to start the download and installation, first check the minimum requirements for its installation, which are:
