VMware, the virtualization giant, is thinking about changes. It has more than 10.000 employees around the world, including programmers, testers, administrative, server maintenance, marketing, etc .; so any change, no matter how small, affects many people and their respective families.
Specifically, VMware is considering a restructuring that would affect 7 percent of its stable plant, that is, about 900 employees. Something that surprised many, since it is a company of technology which was always in full growth.
The reasons were explained through a report provided by the same company on its outlook for 2013; so this measure is taken in a totally foresighted way. VMware augurs a lower growth than expected, due to the European economic problems and in the United States reserves. The company expects revenue for the first quarter of 2013 of between 1,17 and 1,19 million dollars, whereas previously its calculations indicated that it would be of 1,25 million dollars.
