Webian Shell, the browser for those who do not need a desktop

Webian shell declares itself as "A browser for devices that do not need a desktop" Which puts it in the same category as Chrome OS, a shell in which the applications available are those that the cloud can offer.

At this point, Webian Shell is nothing more than a working prototype made with the help of the Chromeless project; its interface shows only the navigation controls, an address bar, tabs, a clock, and a somewhat empty home. The navigation is smooth, but it does not compare to some of the competing browsers (test done with 4, Webian Shell included), it is a demo after all. It also has some incompatibility with Google Web Apps.

The developer is open to receive suggestions and new ideas For the project, among his ideas for the future of Webian Shell are:

Installation

To test Webian Shell, just unpack the Tarball (available in 32 and 64 bit) and run the file "Webian Shell"
