Don't forget that d3d acceleration, textures, pixel shader, etc. depend on factors such as your video card and the version of Wine you are using.

I'm trying to find a tutorial to run directx on linux and be able to play windows games. But this post did not help me much, I only know that wine is necessary to do it.
