Mozilla plans to bring Virtual Reality to Firefox

Every time Firefox has more and more options, and every day it encourages me to use it not only on my laptop, but also on my device with Android. When I flash my Nexus the first thing I do is download Aptoide and from there, install Firefox.

I read the following article from Firefoxmania.

Earlier this year Mozilla started a project to explore the possibilities of bringing the virtual reality to the web, and in June it released an experimental version of Firefox with support for Oculus Rift, one of the most popular virtual reality headsets.

MozVR aims to share all kinds of virtual experiences on the web, provide resources, and showcase developer work in the growing virtual reality-related web community. Allowing users experience the power of the possibilities of VR on the Internet. So far, several demos have been created demonstrating how far human creativity can go, among these demos we can find: Sechelt (a WebGL-based 3D flight over British Columbia) and Polar Sea (a documentary that will take users through the Arctic through 360º videos).

To visit MozVR.com, users will be able to follow a series of prompts to set up and use Oculus Rift seamlessly with Firefox. To enjoy this new experience, you must use a version of Firefox that must be downloaded from here. Mozilla is also working to bring virtual reality to Chromium and its source code is published in GitHub.

And here the article ends.

Every time Mozilla includes more and more functionalities in Firefox, now I find it logical to developer version that just released, the browser already has a lot of functionalities that a 'normal' user simply does not care about.

Well nothing more to add. Now when I install Android 5 on my Nexus 4 (juaz juaz Samsung users and others suffer!) I'll do the usual. At the same time that I import SMS and logs, I will go to download Aptoide free (entering your official site or supporting me in another) and voila, I'll be able to install Firefox, a client for GitHub and well ... I'll see if I download the code to share it here with several I know.
