YunoHost: New Version 11.0.9 Released
Today, we have met release of the new version 11.0.9 full GNU / Linux distribution call "YunoHost". And we have decided to address it, to take advantage of making everyone more widely aware of said project. Since, on previous occasions, we have only commented on it briefly or mentioned it.

Currently, the YunoHost development team at their Official website describes this free, open and free project as follows:
"YunoHost is an operating system that aims to simplify the administration of a server to democratize self-hosting, ensuring that it remains reliable, secure, ethical and light. Requirements
Yunohost is a Very light and manageable operating system, which is reflected in their installation technical requirements which are the following:
- A dedicated computer whose hardware supports x86: Which can be a laptop, nettop or netbook computer, or simply a desktop computer, which has at least 512 MB of RAM and 16 GB of capacity for its installation.
- A functional boot medium: Which can be either a USB flash drive with a capacity of 1 GB or more, or a blank CD (new, unrecorded).
- A good internet connection: What can be integrated by an ISP with a stable and cheap service, which offers sufficient bandwidth, that is, a good and unlimited Connection. And of course youn ethernet cable (RJ-45) to connect the created Server to the router.
What's new in version 11.0.9
According to the official announcement for said launch, the news included in this version 11.0.9 are:
- Better integration with Postgresql.
- Added SNI support for postfix and dovecot.
- Removal of super old MySQL configuration. Which is now based on the Debian default.
- Miscellaneous settings on Python 3.9, PHP 7.4, PostgreSQL 13. In addition to other changes related to the ecosystem in general.
- Implementation of a smarter auto-update mechanism to prevent/limit API downtime and related UX issues.
- Updated translations for the following languages: Arabic, Basque, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Kabyle, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Telugu, and Ukrainian.

For example, it is possible to self-host your blog, so that it lives inside a machine that you control, instead of being hosted on a computer belonging to another person/company (aka The Cloud) against money, advertising or assignment private data". In summary, this new update available under the name Yuno Host 11.0.9 It brings us a great change of form and substance for the entire Distribution. Since this is basically the first stable release based on Debian-11 (Bullseye) which is made available to the entire Community. Therefore, it is recommended to test it very well before putting it into production.
